CELEBRATING 25 YEARS OF STRENGTHENING FAMILiES & COMMUNITIES BY HELPING WOMEN IMPROVE THEIR LIVES
For 25 years, the Annual Luncheon has celebrated the great work of our community to helping young women and girls in Fairfield County imagine new dreams and realize their potential.
On this silver anniversary, join us in our commitment to ensuring the Fund for Women & Girls can continue to invest in sustainable solutions to both meet the immediate needs of many, and address the systemic changes required so that everyone has an equitable opportunity to thrive – regardless of race, zip code or gender.
We are pleased that this year’s luncheon will accommodate an even larger group of passionate supporters than last year, while still offering a live stream option for those unable to join us in Greenwich – all in compliance with CDC and local protocols regarding COVID-19. Once again, we will be inspired by the Fund’s beneficiaries and moved by a trailblazing speaker who will be announced soon along with details of the available VIP experience with the speaker.
As always, proceeds from the Annual Luncheon benefit Fairfield County’s Community Foundation’s Fund for Women & Girls, including the newest signature program, the emme coalition, which works at the intersection of physical wellness, behavioral health, and case management to connect women and girls with lifelong tools for wellbeing that can be passed along to future generations.
Through our Fund for Women & Girls, philanthropists are coming together to invest in sustainable solutions that support the safety, health and economic security of women and girls across Fairfield County. As part of the larger women’s movement, the Fund makes a greater impact by partnering in national coalitions such as Women’s Funding Network and Prosperity Together – working for progress on issues like closing the pay gap and creating pathways to economic security for low-income women and families.
As the newest signature investment of FCCF’s Fund for Women & Girls, emme (empowerment | mindfulness | motivation | education), is a one-stop wellness hub that improves the mental, physical, social, and financial well-being of women and girls. This research-driven program delivered by OPTIMUS Healthcare puts women and girls in the driver’s seat of their lives as partners in their own care. From optimizing job prospects to making healthy choices, emme empowers participants with holistic, lifelong tools to reach their full potential.
