Last year, students from Greenwich to Hartford, CT competed in this popular audition and talent development event. The competitors and audience will have a Q&A session, and will receive general advice regarding life on the ‘wicked’ stage. Huffman says, “Mentoring and talent development is a large part of NPT’s mission statement. We often feature standout performers from this event in NPT’s various professional shows. Our Youth Board & Student Leadership Council, made up of Milford to Greenwich teen leader students, is also involved with this event. Our Youth Board crowd-funds and performs for other nonprofits also.”
NPT knows that entertainment industry networking is crucial to success and participants will have access to a star-studded team of judges at the event. On March 12th, event participants will meet and receive talent development feedback from: Paul Bogaev (Music Movie Producer: Dreamgirls, Chicago and Across the Universe); Scott Bryce (Emmy-nominated TV and Film performer) ; John Reid (Exec Dir of Fairfield Theatre Co) and Tracey Moore, (Hartt School (University of Hartford)
