DESCRIPTION:If you are a nonprofit wanting to better understand your impact or make a compelling case to funders\, you need data! Held in partnership with the Connecticut Data Collaborative\, the Data Skills Series is designed to increase data literacy and build the data capacity of nonprofit staff. This workshop is suited for organizations and individuals who are using data and want to improve their data collection\, analysis and reporting processes. \nThis three-part series will take place on the following dates: May 3\, May 17 and May 31. \nThis workshop series will cover: \n\nData Collection – understand the basic concepts and language of data\, and the different methods of data collection\nData Analysis – evaluate common analytical techniques and common data analysis tools\, including spreadsheeting\, visualization and database programs\nData Reporting – convey the main findings of your data project and outline a communications plan\n\nCost: $150 per organization; $200 for two attendees (maximum of two participants per organization). \nClick here to register. \nPresented by the Connecticut Data Collaborative.
