Be influential from the roots up

Fairfield County’s Community Foundation is the only grantmaking organization in the region that takes a countywide approach to entrenched and emerging community issues.

With the support of people like you, we do much more than award grants. We invite you to be influential from the roots up by helping us:

• Conduct local research to define the scope of current issues and identify emerging issues
• Search the state and the nation for solutions that are working elsewhere
• Publish and distribute reports on what we’ve learned
• Bring to the table experts in specific issues; leaders among nonprofits, government agencies, businesses and communities; and funding partners to work together and develop strategic solutions, identify goals, take action and measure results
• Organize events that connect concerned people, experts and funders to support this work.
