2026 Fund for Women & Girls Celebration Brings Supporters Together

Thank you to all who supported The Fund for Women & Girls Celebration on April 30, 2026. It was a powerful evening that brought together both longtime supporters and many new voices in support of women and girls across Fairfield County. United around a shared commitment, the sense of purpose in the room was clear.
Mimi Sternlicht, founder of Foundation House, was presented with the 2026 Anne Leonhardt Award in recognition of her philanthropic work in support of women and girls. We also heard from partners leading the Black Maternal Health Initiative, grounding the evening in both inspiration and action.
In response to strong participation, a matching grant announced at the event has been increased from $30,000 to $60,000.
