Social Venture Partners (SVP) is a global network of local donors who seek to improve their community.

SVP Connecticut is closely aligned with the Community Foundation. We administer its field of interest fund at the Community Foundation. In addition, SVP Connecticut shares our goal to help local nonprofits increase efficiency, effectiveness and sustainability so they can amplify their impact.

SVP Connecticut’s work complements our Center from Nonprofit Excellence. Its philosophy is to “go deep” with a few nonprofits, providing comprehensive support including layered cash grants, loans, and hands-on assistance from skilled volunteers and paid consultants.
