Empower Fairfield County: Apply Now for a Civic Engagement Grant and Join the Movement for Stronger Democracy!

Are you passionate about strengthening democracy and civic involvement in Fairfield County? The Community Foundation is thrilled to announce a new Civic Engagement Grant Opportunity to help boost voter turnout and improve overall well-being in our region!

Five small grants will be offered to support the existing civic engagement initiatives of five community partners that are leading civic education, voter engagement, and registration efforts. Grantees, along with other community partners, will have access to our full suite of Get Out the Vote campaign resources.

Additionally, we are on the lookout for partner organizations to replicate the KnowYourReps.org website for at least two more cities/towns in Fairfield County. Successful applicants will receive a grant to create comprehensive profiles of every municipal candidate; develop a guide to the structure of local government; and provide essential information about polling locations, sample ballots, and everything needed to cast an effective vote.
