Apply Now To Be in Our First Community Equity Incubator Cohort

Oct 24, 2023

FCCF’s Community Equity Incubator will invest in promising ideas for equity and social change by awarding diverse community residents and/or leaders of grassroots organizations financial support and coaching to accelerate innovative, community-based solutions and programs.

The Incubator will create cohorts of no more than ten (10) participants to receive up to $10,000 in general funding (for legal fees, web development, meeting and travel costs, program support, and other start-up/operating expenses) over 2 years ($5000 allocated each year).

Participants must be emerging, innovative organizations or community leaders at the preliminary stages of development (operating with budgets of $350,000 or less) who are committed to race equity and a community-driven approach to their focus area. Participants must be residents of Fairfield County and should be members of the organization/project’s target communities or directly affected by target issues.

Awardees are to participate in a peer support and learning community with fellow Community Incubator members.

The application period for the Community Equity Incubator is 10/16-11/17/2023, or rolling until capacity is met.
