Strengthening the fabric of our community
Join us on April 30 at the stunning House Up on the Hill for an inspiring evening in support of women and girls across Fairfield County. Over cocktails and good company, we’ll celebrate the people, ideas, and resources that strengthen the fabric of our community and drive meaningful change.
$125 per ticket. RSVP required.
Presented by Fairfield County’s Community Foundation, this special evening brings together community leaders, philanthropists, and changemakers to honor the work being done to uplift women and girls throughout our region.
Honoring Impact
Celebrate our 2026 Anne S. Leonhardt Award honoree, Mimi Sternlicht. A visionary philanthropist dedicated to education and the arts, she expands opportunities for our neighbors through bold investments in community solutions like Foundation House.
Mimi Sternlicht
Founder, Foundation House
Always passionate about social justice, Mimi began her career as a creative director and has connected her love of design and interest in education with many varied charitable works. As a board member of the Park Avenue Armory, the Glass House, the Hirshhorn Museum, One Goal Graduation and Shining Hope for Communities, she developed innovative programming to expose teens to culture and career pathways. Foundation House builds on these ideas, partnering with local organizations including FCCF to foster a philanthropic creative community with convenings on affordable housing, food security, mental health issues, and more. Mimi is also the visionary behind a re-entry center in Bridgeport for the system impacted, a project she developed with Career Resources Inc.
