Increasingly, organizations are adapting to the ever-changing nonprofit landscape by affiliating with other organizations in some capacity. Agencies that are successfully able to collaborate can operate more effectively and cost-efficiently, allowing them to best provide services in our community while allowing them to modify their working relationships as needed.   • Factors to consider in determine why and how to collaborate
  • Different forms of collaboration such as MOUs, shared services agreements, partnering on programs, joint ventures, asset transfers, mergers, and consolidations
  • When and how to involve outside expertise such as consultants and attorneys
  • Questions and challenges
