SEAT Essentials Training

Community-based, representative Board leadership is transformative to our nonprofits and the communities they serve. To empower Black and Latino board members we are collaborating with SEAT CT to offer their SEAT Essentials training this fall, free for participants. SEAT Essentials is a 5-part training covering transferable skills, the structure of nonprofits, board members’ fiduciary responsibilities, fiscal responsibilities, and engagement strategies. This program will leave participants feeling capable and confident in the board room, ready to share their voice, and represent their communities.

This training will be held every Monday from September 11th – October 2nd, from 5:30-7:30 PM at Housatonic Community College. Refreshments will be served.
