Systems Change: Housing Equity

In a thriving community, everyone can access and maintain a safe, affordable home in a neighborhood where they want to live. Unfortunately, too many people in Fairfield County are unable to secure this basic need. Affordable housing shortages have a bigger impact on Black and Latino people, who spend larger shares of their paychecks on housing and are less likely than white people to be able to buy homes.
