FCCF Welcomes Two New Team Members

Fairfield County’s Community Foundation is delighted to welcome two new team members! Get to know Sharon Williams and Emily Brady, who joined FCCF in November 2022.
Emily Brady joined the Foundation in 2022 as Director of Major Gifts. In this role, Emily will strategize and execute the overall major gift fundraising plan for the Foundation.
Prior to joining the Community Foundation, Emily worked for Notre Dame High School in West Haven where she spent the last 5 years. During her time there, she was responsible for coordinating all aspects of development, alumni relations, and campaign efforts. Prior to her role at Notre Dame, she spent over ten years working in higher education focusing on annual and major gift programs. This included several years at the University of Bridgeport. She has also worked with a variety of non-profit organizations as a consultant.
Emily received her bachelor’s degree in earth science from Albion College and is also a Certified Fund-Raising Executive (CFRE). She currently resides in Monroe with her family.
Sharon Williams joined the Foundation in 2022 as Finance Associate. Prior to joining the Community Foundation, Sharon worked for New York District Council of Carpenters Benefits Fund where she has spent the last 21 years. During her time there she was involved in Audit, Remittance, AP, and Allocation. She has a passion for mastering policies to improve the effectiveness of an organization through compliance. Prior to her role at the Carpenters Fund, she spent several years at New York Road Runners where she was a Race Day Lead. There she oriented and provided on-site support to the Runner Services Race Day Associates and volunteer ambassadors.
Sharon earned her bachelor’s degree in finance from CUNY Brooklyn College and holds a NY Notary Public. She currently resides in Norwalk.
