Members of the Funders Collaborative funded and awarded grants to nonprofit affordable housing developers in our region.
We formed the collaborative in 2008 with 18 corporate and family foundations, individual donors and United Ways.
From 2008 to 2017 the Collaborative helped more than 5,000 people, created roughly 1,000 affordable homes, and helped nonprofit developers maintain and manage more than 1,270 affordable homes.
Together, we provided nonprofit housing developers in Fairfield County with a predictable, sustainable source of revenue that improved their capacity to take on new projects and move them more quickly to completion.
