Alexandra (Alli) Ganim joined Fairfield County’s Community Foundation in 2022 as a Program Associate and was promoted to Sr. Program Associate in 2025. In this role, she helps advance the Foundation’s strategic priorities across its Education & Career Development portfolio and Community Impact Team by supporting grantmaking, program development, implementation, and cross-team coordination, and co-leads FCCF’s Youth Philanthropy Council.

Before joining the Foundation, Alli worked at Bridgeport Hospital, within Yale New Haven Health System, as a Clinical Social Worker in the Primary Care Clinic. There, she partnered with interdisciplinary medical teams to deliver patient-centered, trauma-informed care and strengthen connections between healthcare and community-based supports.

Alli brings deep experiences partnering with municipalities, anchor institutions, and nonprofit organizations to support community-driven and systems-informed initiatives across New Jersey and Connecticut. Her background includes roles with the County Council for Young Children under the VNA of NJ, the Housing & Community Development Network of New Jersey, and the Affordable Housing Alliance of NJ.

Locally, in her home city of Bridgeport, she also served as a Case Manager in Permanent Supportive Housing at Alpha Community Services YMCA, where she supported individuals experiencing chronic homelessness, substance abuse, and mental health disorders. This work continues to inform her equity-centered approach to community investment. She remains engaged in this work through her involvement with the Bridgeport Prospers Community Leadership Advisory Team, Choice Neighborhoods Initiative (CNI) Steering Committee, and CT Arts for Learning Collaborative (CALC).

Alli holds both a Bachelor of Social Work and a Master of Social Work, with a concentration in Global Community Practice, from Monmouth University and earned her LMSW in 2021.
