To address the affordable housing crisis in Connecticut, the Connecticut legislature passed General Statutes Sec. 8-30j in 2017, requiring every municipality to adopt an affordable housing plan by June 1, 2022. Fairfield County’s Center for Housing Opportunity (FCCHO) has developed scorecards to assess the plans in Fairfield County and the degree to which they will make our region more affordable for everyone.
